CRFTBY is a celebration of everything made by human hands: a home for the artisans who make it, and a gathering place for everyone who loves it.

Our mission

To showcase independent artists and craftspeople, and to connect them with the people who appreciate their work. We help you meet the makers, buy straight from their studios, learn from them in hands-on workshops, and find them in person at art fairs and artisan markets.

Our vision

As AI-generated images and mass-produced goods grow harder to tell from the real thing, the lines are blurring. CRFTBY draws a clear one. We want to be the place people trust for human-made art and craft, where every piece has a person behind it, and the fingerprints, small imperfections and years of practice are the reason you came.

A community, not a catalog

• Meet the makers: independent studios, artists and artisans, each with their story and a link to buy directly.
• Learn the craft: workshops and classes taught by the makers themselves.
• Get out there: art fairs and artisan markets near you, with dates, hours and directions.
• Join the movement: tell us about a maker we should feature, share the work you love, and bring a friend to a fair.

How we work

Browsing and being featured are free. CRFTBY doesn’t sell anything or take a commission: you buy and book directly with the maker or organizer, who set their own prices and terms.

Our standard covers the art we feature: original work by real, named people. AI-generated artwork and mass-produced goods presented as handmade don’t belong here; clearly labeled prints of an artist’s original work do.
